Who we are

In short
- You don't need an account and we don't ask for personal data.
- Labels and files you open are only processed on your own device. They are not sent to us.
- We use no advertising, no tracking and no analytics tools.
Files and labels
When you open a PDF or image or make your own label, converting, cropping and printing happen entirely on your own phone, tablet or computer. Shipping labels may contain names and addresses of you or your customers; that data only leaves your device via Bluetooth to your printer.
Labels you keep with "Save", and your settings (such as label size and print darkness), are only stored locally on your device. You can delete them in the app. If you delete the app or the website data in your browser, they are gone.
Bluetooth
The app only uses Bluetooth to connect to your label printer and send labels to it. On Android the system asks for permission for "Nearby devices" for this. We do not use Bluetooth to determine your location.
Website and web app
The website and the web app are hosted by Cloudflare. With every visit, Cloudflare processes technical data, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver and secure the website. We do not use this data to track you or build a profile.
Contacting us
If you email us, we only use your email address and what you send us to answer your question. If you use "Report a problem" in the app, your own email program opens a message with technical data (such as the latest messages from the app, the label size and the type of device). You see this data before you send it; nothing is sent to us automatically. If you fill in the feedback form in the app ("What could be better?"), we send your message, your stars, the type of device and the latest messages from the app to us by email via Cloudflare. Your email address is only included if you enter it. We do not keep these messages longer than necessary, and for a maximum of two years.
Your rights and having your data deleted
You have the right to ask which data we have about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. Email [email protected] for this. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Having data from the Lanu Printer app deleted: the app itself does not store any of your data with us. Only if you used the feedback form do we have your message, your stars, the type of device, the latest messages from the app and (if you entered it) your email address. Email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my data" and the email address or a short description of your message. We then delete all that data within 30 days and keep nothing afterwards. You delete labels and settings in the app yourself by deleting them in the app or deleting the app.
Changes
If the app or website changes in a way that affects your privacy, we update this policy. The date at the top shows when that last happened.
